Designing for Health

As a candidate in OCAD University's Master of Design for Health program, I apply design as an evidence-based tool that puts people first. Driven to improve experiences across services and products, I look to work like Merrick Schaefer's mHealth innovation, "txts 4 africa", with UNICEF; Peter Jones' "Design for Care"; and Birger Sevaldson's systemic design methodology for inspiration.

As a web designer, I’ve spent over a decade designing for institutional clients, promoting human-centred principles, developing standards, and working with multidisciplinary teams.

Research Interests:
Chronic disease management, intentional medication adherence, systemic design, design for public policy, human-computer interaction.
